Clymene

Κλυμένη

The Oceanid who married Iapetus and bore the brothers Atlas and Prometheus.

She is one of the Oceanids, the three thousand daughters of Oceanus.

According to Hesiod, she became the wife of the Titan Iapetus and bore Atlas, Menoetius, Prometheus, and Epimetheus.

The one who holds up the sky, the one who sees ahead, the one who understands too late — every Titan entangled with humankind came from this one mother.
