Hades
ᾍδης · Roman 플루톤 (Pluto)
Zeus's brother, ruler of the land of the dead.
The lot he drew gave him the underworld. He is not an evil god — he simply lets no one who arrives go back.
People avoided speaking his name, calling him instead "the wealthy one" (Pluto) — because minerals and grain come out of the ground.
He rarely visits Olympus, which is why he is usually left off the list of the Twelve.

Commonly confused
Hades is not a devil. He is not even the god of death — death itself is Thanatos; Hades is the king who rules the place that comes after.
