Artemis
Ἄρτεμις · Roman 디아나 (Diana)
Goddess of the hunt, mistress of forests and beasts.
Twin sister of Apollo, she chose never to marry — and is merciless when that choice is violated.
She turned the hunter Actaeon, who saw her bathing, into a stag, and his own hounds tore him apart.
She also protects women in childbirth — a role born of the story that, moments after her own birth, she helped her mother deliver her twin Apollo.
