The goddesses who keep the seasons from slipping out of joint.
Daughters of Zeus and Themis, they governed both the cycle of the seasons and the order of society.
The best-known genealogy names them Eunomia (good law), Dike (justice), and Eirene (peace).
Opening and closing the cloud gates of Olympus was also their task.
