Nestor
Νέστωρ
The aged king of Pylos who lived through three generations.
He was the oldest man in the Greek camp, and stepped in to mediate whenever quarrels broke out.
His advice runs long and wanders into old war stories — Homer writes the rambling down word for word.
He is one of the few commanders who survived the war and made it safely home.
