Penthesilea
Πενθεσίλεια
The Amazon queen who fought on the side of Troy.
A daughter of Ares, she led her Amazon army to Troy's aid after Hector's death.
She met Achilles in battle and fell to his spear.
Later tradition says that when Achilles removed her helmet and saw her face, he fell in love on the spot.
