Stentor
Στέντωρ
A herald whose single voice carried like fifty men shouting at once.
He was a herald of the Greek camp, and Homer writes that his voice rang like bronze.
When Hera rallied the army, it was his form she borrowed.
A later tradition says he died after losing a shouting contest with Hermes.
