Arcesius
Ἀρκείσιος
Arcesius, Laertes, Odysseus, Telemachus — every one an only son.
In the Odyssey, Telemachus sums up his house this way: Arcesius fathered Laertes alone, Laertes fathered Odysseus alone, Odysseus fathered him alone.
A genealogy thin as a thread, one death from extinction — which is why Penelope's suitors needed to target only Telemachus.
In Ovid, Odysseus retorts that "Zeus is the founder of our house too" — and at the head of that line stands Arcesius, said to be a son of Zeus.
