Cassandra
Κασσάνδρα
A princess whose prophecies were true — and never believed.
Apollo gave her the gift of prophecy as the price of her love, then added a curse when she changed her mind.
He left the gift intact but made sure no one would ever believe her words.
She cried out not to bring the Trojan horse inside, and no one listened.
To this day, a "Cassandra" is a warning that is right but ignored.
