Elysium
Ἠλύσιον
The underworld's paradise, reserved for heroes and the good.
It is pictured as a plain without snow, winter, or rain, where only the west wind blows.
At first only a handful of heroes could enter, but over time it opened to all who had lived virtuously.
The Champs-Élysées in Paris means exactly this: "the Elysian Fields."
