Eos
Ἠώς · Roman 아우로라 (Aurora)
The goddess of dawn who reddens the sky before sunrise.
Homer calls her "rosy-fingered Eos" — one of the longest-surviving epithets in Western literature.
She loved the mortal Tithonus and asked Zeus to grant him eternal life — but forgot to ask for eternal youth as well.
Tithonus, unable to die, aged without end, and in the end, the story goes, became a cicada.
