Helios
Ἥλιος · Roman 솔 (Sol)
The sun god who crosses the sky each day in a chariot of fire.
He drives a chariot drawn by four horses across the sky from east to west.
His son Phaethon begged to drive it for a single day, nearly set the earth ablaze, and fell when Zeus struck him with a thunderbolt.
Because he sees everything from above, myth often calls him in as a witness — it was Helios who told Hephaestus of Aphrodite's secret affair.
