Nyx
Νύξ · Roman 녹스 (Nox)
The primordial night that even Zeus dared not touch.
Nyx is night itself, and she bore Sleep (Hypnos), Death (Thanatos), Fate (the Moirai), and Retribution (Nemesis).
In Homer's Iliad there is a scene where Zeus, even in his anger, cannot act against Nyx — he feared to anger Night.
She belongs to a generation older than the Olympians, and though she rarely appears in the stories, her rank is high.
