Satyr
Σάτυρος · Roman 파우누스 (Faunus)
Half-beast spirits who follow wherever wine and dancing go.
They wear the ears and tails of horses or goats, are perpetually drunk, and chase after nymphs.
At the festivals of Dionysus, the satyr play was the short comic piece tacked on after three tragedies.
The old satyr Silenus is portrayed as Dionysus's teacher — and as the one who speaks the truth while drunk.
