The Titan goddess who bore the sun, the moon, and the dawn.
Her name simply means "goddess." Tradition says she governed light and all that glitters.
With her brother Hyperion she bore Helios, Selene, and Eos.
Pindar sang that gold and silver gleam because she placed the radiance inside them.
