Astraeus
Ἀστραῖος
The Titan who, with Eos the dawn goddess, fathered the winds and the stars.
His very name comes from the Greek astron, star. He is the Titan of the star-filled night sky.
According to Hesiod, with Eos he fathered Zephyrus the west wind, Boreas the north wind, and Notus the south wind — then Eosphorus the morning star, and all the stars of heaven.
That dawn should give birth to stars and winds makes a kind of sense. Dawn is exactly when the stars set and the wind rises.
